enter the
protected
area
through
one
of the
designated
Entry/Exit
doors, the
codepad
control
will
sound
a continuous
tone
for the
duration
of
the
entry
delay time,
or until
yor_r
enter
a valid
code.
Step 1
Enter
a valid
user code.
Steo 2 The
red
armed lightwill
go
off
and
the
tone
will
stop. The
security
Type
code
to
o'isarm
system
is now DISAFIMED.
lf
a valid
code is
not
entered
before
the end
of the
entry delay,
an
alarm will
occur.
NOTE:
lf the
red
armed tightis
flashing
during
the
entry
delay,
the
alarm
system
has
been
activated
in
your
absence.
Leave
the
building
immediately
and
call
your
alarm
company
and/or
the
police
from
a safe
location.
BJPASSING
ZqILES
lf
you
wish
to
byoass one
or more
zones,
this must
be
done while
the
system
is in
the
disarmed
state. lf
the zone
is not known.
refer
to
procedure
#2.
lf
you
know
the
number
of the
zone
to
bypass,
use the
following:
Step 1
Press
the
[BYPASSI
key.
Step 2
When
the LCD
prompts
for
a code
(optional,
if
programmed),
enter
your
user
cooe.
Step 3 f he
bypass
/rghl flashes.
Step 4
Enter the
zone
you
wish
to bypass. (Example:
press
0
6
for
zone
6
(NX4,
B, 12, 16)
or
0
0
6 for zone
6
(NX128).
Step 5 Press
the
IBYPASSI
key
again. The
zone
is now
bypassed.
Step 6 Repeat
steps
4 and
5 for
any other
zone(s)
that
need
to
be bypasseo.
Step 7
Press
the
IBYPASS]
key again
OR
press
# to
exit the
Bypass
Mode.
fhe
bypass
light
will
stop flashing
upon exiting
the
Bypass
Mode.
Pressing
the
A V
scroll
keys will
display
all bypassed
zones.
press
the #
key to
exit this
viewing
mode.
